South Side Bee Branch Dyslexia Program

During the 2023-2024 school year, South Side Bee Branch Public School District used the multisensory, systematic, and Orton-Gillingham-based program Connections OG in 3D by The Apple Group in small group intervention for students exhibiting dyslexia characteristics. South Side Bee Branch School District currently has interventionists and classroom teachers in each building, and they are implementing this program with fidelity.  Supplemental materials and tools: CKLA Skills, Heggerty, Kilpatrick PA drills, Elkonin boxes, sound wall (phoneme-grapheme correspondence with articulatory features).
