Parent Resources

Welcome to the Parent Resources page, created to serve the needs of our district's elementary and high school families. This page provides access to essential resources to foster effective communication and engagement in your child's education. All necessary information is readily available, whether you are seeking academic calendars or the parent portal for monitoring grades and attendance. Additionally, this section includes links to district policies and important Akransas sites, offering support tailored to students at various educational stages. Our objective is to equip parents with the tools needed for their children’s success throughout their academic journey

Our Parent-Student-Teacher Organization (PSTO)

The Parent-Student-Teacher Organization (PSTO) at South Side Bee Branch is crucial in building a supportive school community and raising necessary funds for our district. Through our main event, Fall Festival, the PSTO strengthens the bond between parents, students, and teachers and helps provide additional resources for classrooms, extracurricular activities, and school improvements. By participating in these events, our families and community members directly contribute to enhancing the educational experience for every student in our district.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Annalisa Hall at 501-253-2895 or Jenny Jones at 501-206-2384.

Student Technology

At South Side Bee Branch School District, we are dedicated to enhancing student learning through the effective use of technology. Each student is provided with a Chromebook, chosen for its easy management, functionality, and affordability. These devices give students access to various educational tools and digital platforms, supporting collaborative work, independent research, and interactive learning. By integrating Chromebooks into our classrooms, we ensure students have the technology they need to succeed while maintaining cost-effective solutions for the district.

Help for the Homeless

If you lost your housing and now live in a shelter, motel, vehicle, camping ground, or temporary trailer, on the street, doubled up with family or friends, or in another type of temporary or inadequate housing, your child might be able to receive help through a federal law called the McKinney-Vento Act. Tonya Lovell serves as the local homeless education liaison for the South Side Bee Branch School District.
