South Side Bee Branch Dyslexia Program
During the 2024-2025 school year, the South Side Bee Branch Public School District utilized the multisensory, systematic, and Orton-Gillingham-based program Connections OG in 3D by The Apple Group in small-group interventions for students exhibiting characteristics of dyslexia. South Side Bee Branch School District currently has interventionists and classroom teachers in each building, and they are implementing this program with fidelity. Supplemental materials and tools: CKLA Skills, Heggerty, Kilpatrick PA drills, Elkonin boxes, sound wall (phoneme-grapheme correspondence with articulatory features).
